Pretty Good Pottery has the following contact methods.
Prince Edward Island for a small province, is home to many potters. As part of a family pottery business dating back to 1973, I developed an interest in the history of pottery, and when collectors started writing me for information to identify the work of local potters the blog developed as a place to share information. We appreciate receiving additions to the site.

Renata Jaeger - Jaeger Pottery, Brackley Beach, PEI
Renata Jaeger operated a ceramics business called Jaeger Pottery in the community of Brackley Beach, PEI for several decades. Jan Coffin - Coffin's Corner Pottery, Orwell, PEI
Jan Coffin was a pottery student at Holland College School of Visual Arts in Charlottetown during the 1970s when Ron Arvidson was the instructor. Before she participated in pottery training extension courses offered in Montague through the School with Daphne Large. Following completion of her training at Holland College, her plan was to open a purpose-built studio in Orwell near the popular tourist attraction Orwell Corner Historic Village; however, a change in life plans resulted in her studio opening in Montague. She operated her business as Coffin’s Corner until the 1980s. During this time she participated in a number of craft shows and had pottery on consignment in local tourism operations.
During the period that Jan operated the business she signed her work with "Jan - Coffin's Corner PEI".

David Bennett Pottery - Souris, PEI
David Bennett grew up in Souris, PEI and he studied at both UPEI and Holland College School of Visual Arts. While living in Charlottetown he became an active member of the PEI Pottery Studio, a co-operative studio for both beginners and advanced potters. Known for their educational programs, they have also been active in outreach to the community and fundraising efforts as well. Soupy Saturday was an initiative in partnership with Back Alley Music, a local Charlottetown music retailer and live music venue to sell bowls at the Soupy Saturdays (soup & music) events held in the shop for a minimum donation of $20. Although Soupy Saturday did not continue as an ongoing partnership, the pairing of food and music was a success for Back Alley in other locations with the owners combining food with musical events at the Trailside Music Hall.
